West Ham United spent much of tonight's Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham wandering about like zombies; Slaven Bilic a dead man walking. In the end, however, they resurrected themselves at Wembley with an improbable comeback victory. Having fallen 2-0 behind early in the first half, West Ham somehow won the game within a 15-minute spell that began ten minutes after half time. Andre Ayew scored twice, before Angelo Ogbonna won the game twenty minutes from the end.
The Hammers themselves could hardly believe that they had gone in front:

The travelling West ham fans were naturally sent into raptures, with many of the triumphant Hammers' players throwing their jerseys into the crowd before departing the field.
This led to a truly outstanding moment when captain Mark Noble chucked his shirt into the crowd, causing two men old enough to know better to make a wild dive to claim it. This led to that classic genre of humour: Man Falls Over.
At least @SpursOfficial have one thing to smile about tonight. This @WestHamUtd fan trying to catch Noble's jersey. ??? pic.twitter.com/D1Jw7Ltzi3

In other news, Ireland's Declan Rice played the game as part of a back three for West Ham, and while he inadvertently deflected Spurs second goal to the net, he performed admirably, and joined his teammates in giving his shirt to the travelling fans.
Sadly, he didn't cause comedy like Noble.
