Southampton have sacked Mark Hughes after eight months as manager of the club.
In a statement, Southampton said that Hughes's assistants, Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki, have also departed St. Mary's.
First team coach, Kelvin Davis, will take charge for Southampton's game against Spurs on Wednesday.

The club is currently 18th in the Premier League and on a 10-game winless run. Their only win in the league this season came against Crystal Palace in early September.
In all, Hughes only won three matches from 22 attempts in the league.
He is the second Premier League manager to be sacked this season after Fulham showed Slavisa Jokanovic the Craven Cottage door last month.
