What have Mark Hamill and Wolverhampton Wanderers in common?
Not a lot on first glance, but somehow the Stars Wars actor is now a fan of The Championship side. It's a long way from Tatooine to Molineux.
Hamill has nearly two million followers on Twitter, and is very active on the social media platform. It was on Twitter that the fondness for Wolves became known.
Luke Skywalker/Joker himself @HamillHimself has liked this tweet.
We take this as confirmation that he is now a @Wolves fan.#YamYamMark pic.twitter.com/jG5WwQJtin— Wolves Fancast (@wolvesfancast) September 8, 2017
Hamill regularly 'likes' tweets, but his potential love of Wolverhampton Wanderers gained traction, with even the club becoming involved in the discussion.
I am now. Never heard of them until 2 days ago. All because I "liked" a tweet from a #Wolves fan & they made me feel like family. Very nice!

When asked if I liked the"Wolves"I thought they meant the animal. But everyone got so excited-I HAD to be a fan-there's no turning back now!

Can we expect Hamill to turn up at Molineux this season? Wolves are in third place in The Championship, just three points off the top of the table.
The force is clearly strong at Molineux.
