We're not sure how familiar you are with Mario Balotelli's immediate family but it was news to us that Mario's brother has a highly unusual, even ironic, Christian name.
We give you, Enoch Balotelli. It is unknown who the Balotelli's Enoch is named after, but we doubt very much if he was named after the most famous Enoch in British history.
Enoch Powell was sacked from his post as Shadow Defence Secretary by Conservative leader Ted Heath for his explosively controversial Rivers of Blood speech in which he predicted disaster if Britain did not impose severe restrictions on immigration. Interestingly, he subsequently left the Tories after they brought the UK into the European Union, and became an Ulster Unionist MP for South Down, where he announced that he "never went to Ireland but frequently went to Ulster." A spirit which has been imbibed by this guy clearly.
The Balotelli's have often been on the end of racist rhetoric and anti-immigrant sentiment in their native Italy, not least from their iconic former Prime Minister's sibling. Enoch formerly played for Qormi FC in the Maltese Premier League.
