Good news for Leeds United fans.
The chances that Marcelo Bielsa will remain as manager of the club for at least one more season are becoming "increasingly likely" according to The Telegraph.
It's said that conversations between Bielsa and Leeds are ongoing but those conducting them on behalf of the club are positive regarding the possibility of the 63-year-old staying on. The Argentinian has also been linked with the vacant Roma job.
Bielsa took over last summer steering the club to a third-place finish in the Championship. It was a real achievement considering they had finished 13th the previous season.
Automatic promotion had looked a real possibility throughout the campaign but they fell away in the closing weeks, eventually losing out to Derby in the playoff semi-final last week.
The Times adds that the club has the option of extending Bielsa's contract for a further season but will allow him to return home should he wish to do so.
A decision is expected to be made this week.
