It was a nervy affair, but Manchester United survived a scare at home against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
Within four minutes United were 2-0 down, as goals from Taiwo Awoniyi and Willy Boly left the Old Trafford crowd stunned. Christian Eriksen pulled one back before half-time, before the home side rallied in the second half to produce a rousing comeback.
Casemiro levelled the game on 52 minutes, before Marcus Rashford won a penalty for his side after he was taken down in the penalty area. That came off the back of a sending off for Nottingham Forest captain Joe Worrall for pulling down Bruno Fernandes with the Portuguese in on goal.
Fernandes would dispatch the penalty, and Manchester United ran out 3-2 winners, but both of the big decisions from referee Stuart Attwell drew scrutiny in the aftermath of United's dramatic comeback win.
The contact on Rashford was minimal, with some fans frustrated that the penalty had been awarded.
Speaking on the penalty incident on BBC's Final Score, ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown called for changes in the implementation of VAR going forward.

Marcus Rashford VAR decision draws criticism from Martin Keown
Martin Keown was not satisfied with the decision to award Manchester United a penalty for a clumsy challenge on Marcus Rashford in Saturday's home game against Nottingham Forest.
Keown questioned the lack of a visible review from VAR, and suggested that match officials should be instructed to explain their decision making, and access be given to communications in the VAR room:
I wonder whether it's a moment where you think, 'did they [VAR] actually see it?'
I cannot believe that the officials have come to that decision and awarded a penalty. I look forward to the day where the officials can communicate their decisions to us and explain their workings out in the VAR room.
It is not the first penalty controversy involving Manchester United this season.
On the opening weekend, goalkeeper Andre Onana was fortunate to avoid giving away a last-minute penalty, after he charged out from his goal and collided with two separate Wolves forwards, in an incident which was reviewed by VAR.
Wolves earned an apology from the match officials for that poor call, and Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes asked for his side to receive a similar apology after they were denied a similarly clearcut penalty away to Spurs last weekend.
There will certainly be added scrutiny on the officials in Manchester United's upcoming games, after the numerous controversies thus far this season.
