With Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS having taken control of footballing operations at Manchester United, it seems likely that there will be some big changes at the club over the coming months.
Moves have already been made to implement a rigorous footballing structure at board level, something that had previously been lacking at Old Trafford. Decisions will also have to be made about the future of both the manager and a sizeable portion of their first team squad.
In terms of potential incomings, it is likely that the new minority owners will look to bring some new players to Manchester United this summer.
It seems one potential target has already been identified, although it is not one that will massively excited the club's supporters.

Manchester United linked with Premier League flop
Spanish outlet Revelo are reporting that Manchester United have identified Spain striker Joselu as a potential target this summer, with the club having sent scouts to watch him in recent weeks.
The 34-year old is playing at Real Madrid this season, having joined on loan from Espanyol last summer. He has scored 13 goals for the club in all competitions.
Of course, Premier League fans will be familiar with the forward. Joselu had underwhelming spells with both Stoke City and Newcastle United a number of years ago, before returning to Spanish football in 2019.
Since then, he has experienced a late career resurgence. He proved to be a hit at both Alaves and Espanyol, before being brought in by Real Madrid as a stopgap solution for this season. The player even made his Spain debut in 2023 at the age of 32, since earning ten caps and scoring five goals.
Real Madrid have an option to sign the striker for £1.2million this summer, although other clubs would likely be forced to pay more for his services.
While Joselu has proven to be a decent player in recent times, his age would make it a very strange signing for Manchester United. It would certainly be no more than short-term solution for their backup striker spot, a role that perhaps would be better filled by a younger player.
It would be a surprise if they were to pursue the Spaniard this summer.
