After an underwhelming start to the season in which they scored just three goals in four Premier League games, Manchester United players are reportedly not happy with Louis van Gaal.
According to Matt Dickinson and James Ducker of The Times, a number of senior Man Utd players - who are not named - confronted their manager recently regarding his rigid training methods which they feel are stifling creativity on the pitch.
The confrontation, which happened a number of weeks ago, did not improve the situation with the Dutchman apparently unwilling to immediately change his approach.
United currently sit fifth in the Premier League table on seven points. Wins in their opening two games of those season, both 1-0 victories, were followed by a goalless draw with Newcastle and a 2-1 loss away to Swansea.
There is some good news for Man Utd fans regarding David De Gea. Following Spain's win against on Tuesday, the Spanish keeper gave some positive comments about his future at the club.
