While Manchester United fans were hoping to see the club build on a promising season by making some major moves in the transfer market, there has been little sign of movement in the summer window up to this point.

They have been linked with countless players in recent weeks, with Mason Mount the name most frequently mentioned. It has been reported that three bids have been placed for the Chelsea midfielder, although the deal seems to have stalled at this point. Outside of that, no other possible arrivals are imminent.

As for player sales, Erik ten Hag will look to shift quite a bit of deadwood from the squad over the next month or so.

It is clear that there are a number of players who are no longer required at Old Trafford, meaning the club will be keen to get them off the books before the start of the season. That could be easier said than done in many cases, with the club's bloated wage structure meaning that some players could be hesitant to move on.

In saying that, it seems they have named their price for a big chunk of their current squad.

Mail Sport are reporting that Manchester United have named their asking price for 13 of their players. It is said that the group can be split into three groups: 'for sale', 'will listen to offers', and 'could go at the right price'.

That first group consists largely of fringe members of the squad, with the likes of Donny van de Beek, Fred, and Anthony Elanga said to be available for around £20million. Hannibal Mejbri, Alex Telles, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, and Zidane Iqbal are also up for sale at the moment.

In the 'listen to offers group', it is thought that United would consider bids of £40million for both Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay, with Dean Henderson available for £25million. The final group consists of Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial, with respective bids of £45million and £25million enough to start a dialogue on a potential sale.

It is highly unlikely that all of the players mentioned above will be sold in the weeks ahead, although Manchester United will have to bring in some money in order to fund potential incomings.

The club's heavy spending in recent seasons means that Financial Fair Play (FFP) is a factor to consider this summer. As a result, additional income from player sales will be required if they want to strengthen the squad.

They will be hoping that a few of those deals can be sorted out sooner rather than later.
