Having arrived at the club with a huge amount of hype, it's fair to say that Jadon Sancho has turned out to be a bit of a disaster at Manchester United.
Coming to Old Trafford for a fee of around £75million and earning a rumoured £350,000 per week, it was expected that he would take the team to the next level and get them back competing for top domestic and European honours.
The reality has been far different.
While he has not been helped by playing at a dysfunctional club, Sancho has also been his worst enemy at times. His effort levels have been questioned all the way back to his time as a youth player at Manchester City, with this being the major reason for his downfall at his current club.
Erik ten Hag has clearly grown tired of his lack of application in training, banishing him from the first team in recent times. It looks very unlikely that the situation will be resolved in the weeks and months ahead, meaning we are likely coming towards the end of Jadon Sancho's time at Manchester United.
As a result, it seems the club are already eyeing a number of potential replacements.

Manchester United identify potential Jadon Sancho replacements
According to the usually reliable Manchester United insider The Muppetiers, Manchester United have drawn up a five-man shortlist of potential Jadon Sancho replacements.
The list consists of Yeremy Pino (Villarreal), Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao) and Antonio Nusa (Club Brugge), Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich) and Martin Terrier (Rennes).
That is an interesting group of players. The likes of Pino, Williams, and Nusa are three young up and coming wingers, all aged 21-years old or younger. Gnabry and Terrier are a bit further along in their careers at 28 and 26 respectively.
None of those players would come cheap, with Pino and Williams among the best emerging stars in La Liga at the minute.
Even if Jadon Sancho leaves the club in January as looks likely, it remains unclear if the club would look to bring in a high-priced replacement during the winter transfer window. The minority ownership of Jim Ratcliffe may help in that regard if the proposed deal goes through in time.
In any case, it seems that Manchester United are already preparing for life after Sancho.
