Manchester United fans might not be overly excited by the prospect, but they are just 180 minutes away from a European final. They travel to Spain tonight for the first leg of the Europa League semi final. In their illustrious history, they have only managed to pass this round of a European competition six times.
Given the current Premier League famine (four years) and the terrible, dark six years since their last appearance in a European final, it's surely something to at least tune in for tonight. That's despite Jose Mourinho spending much of the last month moaning about the fixture list, perhaps wishing for an arrangement for United to finish their season in mid-July.
Their semi final record over the years hasn't been exceptional, winning just six of their 15 semi finals over the years. On the other hand, they've won the last three they've appeared in.
We've given you six minutes to name all 16 opponents (there are some duplicates), which should be plenty of time. We're confident you'll remember some of the more famous ones, but it takes a real United fan to know the heartache of the 1965 Fairs Cup semi final defeat or the glory of the 1991 Cup Winners' Cup.
We think a true fan can manage a solid 14/16 in this one.
Good luck!
