Manchester United have shocked Man City and the entire Premier League after their match-winning 2-1 comeback kicked off Ruben Amorim's Manchester derby account.
It was a struggling Manchester City side who scored the first and only goal of the first half game when he fired City ahead after thirty-six minutes.
When Bruno Fernandes missed a clear-cut opportunity to equalise the affair in the seventy-third minute, Ruben Amorim's men looked destined for another Manchester derby loss at the hands of their local rivals.
However, disaster struck for Pep Guardiola just two minutes before full-time when Amad Diallo was taken out in the box and awarded a penalty. Fernandes made no mistake from the spot, ridding his earlier woes and levelling the affair with mere minutes to play.
Things went from bad to worse for Manchester City who just 115 seconds later found themselves once again at the mercy of Amad Diallo who bagged the most unbelievable of goals to deliver a shock win for Manchester United.

Manchester United players get salty on social media
While Manchester City were obviously undercooked coming into this derby match, few, if any could have imagined as dramatic a start to Amorim's derby career than that of which unfolded on Sunday afternoon.
That sentiment seemed to apply to both the fans and players who were left celebrating like the Manchester United glory days had returned.
Taking to social media after Sunday's win, Ruben Amorim's players who have by any standards enjoyed a tough couple of years weren't shy about making their feelings known.
Andre Onana was among the first of the Manchester United stars to take to social media, with the goalkeeper posting a brilliant picture of him atop Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva.

Similarly enough, Rasmus Hojlund wasn't taking any prisoners, taking a cheeky dig at Kyle Walker after their first-half incident saw the City star hit the deck a little too easily.
It wasn't just social media where players were making their feelings known. Bruno Fernandes was among the many Manchester United fans who gave the home supporters a piece of their mind.

Joshua Zirkzee joined Fernandes in taunting the City fans, returning to the field post-match to mock them before taking to Instagram saying 'paint the town red'.

Manchester United still have an awfully long way to go but tonight's result - on the back of both Garnacho and Amorim being dropped from the matchday squad - suggests Ruben Amorim is the man right man to steer the ship.
