The statement is brief, and reads as follows:
Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalise his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United.
There has been no official word as to the fee as of yet but all indications suggest that United will smash the world transfer record for the player they let move to Juventus for just £800,000 four years ago.
Pogba will be the centrepiece of José Mourinho's Manchester United side who finally look poised to challenge for league honours for the first time since Alex Ferguson's retirement from management and he joins the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as new recruits on the red side of Manchester.
