Manchester United have revealed their latest alternative strip for the upcoming 2017/18 season, which was designed by a fan.
Nello Carotentuto, a 21-year-old from Italy was the lucky winner of the year-long competition that the Manchester club had run.
Adidas and Man United launched an initiative last August for their fans to design a kit and the Top 100 designs were judged by a panel to decide on the winning strip.

Although the colour of the kit is nice and the design sleek, the pattern at the bottom of the jersey does seem unnecessary.

In recent times their away strips have alternated each year from a simple black or blue but this jersey is reminiscent of the 1995/96 when Sir Alex Ferguson instructed his side to change their kit at half-time when they were 3-1 down to Southampton.
United did not win a single game in the 1995/96 season when they wore the grey jersey.
Manchester United fans must be hoping that they do not have the same sort of luck as Cantona, Beckham and Giggs had back then.
