Seasons are winding down and that can only mean we are about to be engulfed in a tsunami of ridiculous transfer rumours.
While a big name Real Madrid player being linked with a Premier League move does very much look like one of 'those' stories, there does seem to be more to the news that has broken today.
There are news reports surfacing from South America that suggest United are going to acquire the services of Colombian golden boy James Rodriguez.
A well-known journalist for Colombian National Radio Station RNC is reporting that Manchester United have agreed a deal with James as the Colombian has been unhappy with his lack of playing time at Madrid this season.
Antonia Casale, director of Colombian show ‘En La Jugada’ has reported that James’ agent Jorge Mendes (who is also Jose Mourihno’s agent) has met with Madrid President Florentino Perez to discuss the move but added that no deal will be officially done until the Champions League Final has been played.

B Silva, James Rodriguez etc all v similar to Mata, Mkhitaryan etc. Not required at #MUFC if they all remain at club.

Casale, who has a huge following in South America, said Rodriguez has been open to moving clubs since December but decided last minute to try and make one more effort to impress Zidane.
Of course, with any transfer rumour people are going to have their doubts.
Despite only playing 1,414 minutes this season, the midfielder has managed to score 11 goals, he has also managed 8 assists which is twice as much as Paul Pogba (who has played 4,340 mins).

‘But can he do it on a cold night in’………and all that.
The journalist has also claimed that Rooney may be making a break from Old Trafford because of the deal.
