20 Years Ago Today Matt Busby Died. Manchester United And Everton Paid This Tribute

On 20 January 1994, Matt Busby died at the age of 84. Two days later, a Scottish piper led out Manchester United and Everton at Old Trafford. Busby led United to five League titles and the European Cup title in 1968 over twenty-five years in charge.

Here Busby talks about the three great teams he managed in his time at United, the Jackie Carey led side of the late 40s/early 50s, the all conquering side of the late 50s that was destroyed in Munich, and the Best/Charlton/Law European Cup winning outfit of the mid-late 60s.
