The rumours overnight was that Anthony Martial had been identified as the player Man United's would rest a significant portion of their goalscoring hopes on this season. It soon became clear that this was more than just rumours.
Now it looks like a deal has been reached with the French Football Federation confirming that Martial had been given permission to leave the French training camp 'to sign a contract with Man United'.

We'll chalk this one down as a done deal then, with all that's left being to find out just how much Monaco have managed to wrangle out of United for a player that has bags of potential. Despite that potential there'll understandably be a lot of question marks over the fee.
Martial has scored eleven league goals since signing for Monaco from Lyon in 2013. Optimists will say that United are doing the right thing and investing for the long term but having been linked with the likes of Muller and Pedro, it's certainly a gamble to spend that kind of money on a 19 year old.
