Last we checked, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo were still shuffling about on this mortal coil. Both are, however, beginning their recovery from serious knee injuries sustained against Anderlecht last Thursday night, with the injury to Ibrahimovic possibly costing him his career.
Ahead of today's Premier League game away to Burnley, United wore jumpers bearing the names of Rojo and Ibrahimovic in support of their stricken colleagues.

It's not the first time we've seen this happen in the Premier League, and Manchester City wore shirts bearing Ilkay Gundogan's name after he suffered a knee injury. Great credit to one twitter user, who called it ahead of the game:
Not that everybody was impressed...
Ibrahimovic and Rojo tops in warm up!!! Not sure about that one. #ManUtd

Imagine if Arsenal did what Man United are doing for Zlatan & Rojo with long term injuries. We'd have had Diaby shirts on for nearly 7 years

Man United players wore shirts with the names of injured team-mates in their warm-up, but no black armbands for Ugo Ehiogu? Perspective. 😞
