Yet another player has entered the chat of rumoured Man United striker targets.

Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, and most recently Rasmus Hojland have all been courted by the Premier League club as they look to fill the most gaping hole in their squad.

It has now been reported by Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo that Brazilian wonderkid Vitor Roque's supposed move to Barcelona is in jeopardy, and that Man United and other clubs are waiting in the wings, ready to poach the 18-year-old.

Roque's transfer to Barca looked to be set in stone, but his club, Athletico Paranaense, have grown impatient with the delay of paperwork needed to finalise the deal.

Mundo Deportivo have written that numerous clubs are very keen on the player:

PSG Manchester United and Tottenham do not stop calling and are willing to travel to Brazil to close the signing , offering better guarantees than Barça itself and tripling the player's salary.

Roque's move to Barcelona has been in the works for awhile, with the player giving an interview in February where he spoke of his desire to move to La Liga.

"Yes, of course I do. I am working for this. The competitions I played in last year, the Libertadores and the Brasileirao, will help me to be well prepared when I go to Europe. I'm very happy to be 18 years old, which already allows me to go and play outside my country. My goal is to keep working with humility, because with faith in God everything will work out.

"Yes, it's a dream not only for me but also for any player who comes along. If I end up going to Barça, it will be a great joy for my family and for me... that's why I have to keep working hard and hope that everything comes together in time."

Roque moved to Athletico Paranaense from Cruzeiro last year, and became the club's record signing, before making his Brazil debut in March of this year.

He currently has 15 goals in 30 games for his club this year, along with six assists.
