Manchester United's Latest Transfer Rumours All Seem A Bit Familiar

Not a day goes by without five Manchester United transfer stories doing the rounds, and today is no different. Louis Van Gaal's men are being linked with everyone and their dog, while rumours of departures are rife too. Here's all the rumours doing the rounds, and how likely each of them are.

Angel di Maria to PSG

Short of being confirmed from the two clubs, this deal is going ahead. A fee of €63 million has been agreed, which is a loss of €17 million on what United paid for him. The reports are that Di Maria is scheduled to have a medical in Paris in the coming days.

The Argentine's great start to life at Old Trafford was halted after his home was burgled, which seems to have unsettled him.

David de Gea to Real Madrid

In case you didn't know, Real Madrid want David de Gea. This is a story that had nearly bi-daily updates until Real Madrid signed Casilla. Reports emerged last night that Van Gaal was unhappy with how distracted de Gea has become, and is looking to offload the talented keeper.

Rafael to Lyon

With the right-back seemingly out of favour after the arrival of Matteo Darmian, and Antonio Valencia viewed as a right back by Van Gaal, the Brazilian is free to leave. L'Equipe are reporting that Rafael will move to the former French giants for a fee of €3 million. This would leave Andreas Pereira as the only Brazilian in United's squad. Gone are the days of Anderson, Kleberson and Fabio.

Pedro to United

With di Maria at the exit door, Van Gaal will want someone in. It does seem like Pedro is equally keen to leave the Nou Camp, but given how long this saga has gone on, you'd wonder if there is any basis to it.

Gareth Bale to United

United wanted him from Southampton, and from Tottenham. It would make sense that they still want him. He's a great player, but he's not going anywhere. This is the only the second biggest bullshit rumour of the day. That award goes to...
