A group of Manchester United fans are planning to send a plane towing a "Moyes out" banner over Old Trafford during their game against Aston Villa this Saturday.
According to reports, the banner will read "Wrong One - Moyes Out", as opposed to the "Chosen One" banner that has been displayed by the Stretford End flags group since Moyes took over from Alex Ferguson last year.
The airborne banner is to be paid for from around £1,000 of donations sent to the Republik of Mancunia supporters' group, and will be the first concerted effort by fans to remove the boss.
Though the board has maintained its faith in Moyes, discontent among the faithful was clearly evident during the 3-0 derby defeat on Tuesday night - a fan had to be removed from the dugout area, Ferguson himself was verbally abused in the stands, and stewards had to be sent to guard the "Chosen One" banner.
