Man United have reportedly made a £2m offer to sign Norwegian side Odd BK's 17-year-old winger Rafik Zekhnini, after his starring performance against Borussia Dortmund.
In last Thursday's Europa League qualifier, the Norwegian team took a 3-0 lead after 22 minutes, only for the Bundesliga side to show their class and win the match 4-3.
After the game, the German club's star defender Mats Hummels, who's been often linked with a move to Old Trafford, was clearly impressed and responded in shock to being informed of Zekhnini's age by responding "he's really 17 years old, what the fuck?".
Zekhnini has spoken about the potential switch to local newspaper TA, saying that he "dreams" of playing for United.
My dream is to play for Manchester United. It has always been my favourite club. But you never know if there will be an offer.
The winger only broke into the first team this season and clearly has a big future ahead of him if he can produce more performances similar to the one against Dortmund after Odd BK overcame Shamrock Rovers in the previous round.
