Marcus Rashford is the second coming of Christ. No wait, he's the new Taoiseach. No the next US President. No, he's discovered the meaning of life as he put the ball past Petr Cech in the Arsenal goal for the second time at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The 18-year-old has had a great start to his professional career, but the Man United fans that are creaming themselves over their latest prodigy are going overboard yet again.
I say to them: Federico Macheda, David Bellion, or worse... Paul Pogba. Who knows, maybe Rashford will be the next Mark Robins?
That said, some of the proclamations that these fans are making are humourous, be it sarcastic hot-takes or not. Here's a selection of our favourite:
Makes me chuckle how much money English clubs spend on foreign players ... They might be better off looking on the door step ... #RashFord

Rashford for the Euros!

Marcus Rashford will probably play at the Euros. His positioning is Van Nistelrooy-esque.

We'd be champions by now if Rashford had played all season.

Where even is Federico Macheda?
