Man United To Steal Monaco Star From Under Chelsea's Nose And More Transfer Rumours

Things are properly spicing up now, as the transfer rumours keep spewing out like Mike Ashley at a business meeting. Competition is fierce as clubs vying for quality players get more aggressive in the market. No greater example of this sums it up better than the see-sawing of targets between Chelsea and Man United.

Man United Agree Fee For Bakayoko

Well, well, well. We can only assume that Antonio Conte is in a room somewhere tearing a poor Chelsea employee out of it for the mess that they have made of this transfer window so far. Firstly, the Blues miss out on Romelu Lukaku to Man United. In turn, they cancel the deal to send Nemanja Matic to Old Trafford. And now, in an incredible turn of events, the Red Devils are about to steal another player from the London club in the form of Tiemoué Bakayoko.

The Monaco midfielder had been heavily linked with Chelsea for a couple of weeks now, but once again their inexplicable lethargy in this summer's market is going to cost them. United, in need of a new holding midfielder, have shifted focus to Bakayoko, with several outlets reporting this morning that a deal worth £35 million has been agreed with the Ligue 1 club.

Costa Out, Morata In?

It's not all bad news for Chelsea however, as AS.com are reporting that the club are set to offer Real Madrid somewhere in the region of €80 million for Alvaro Morata. Funnily enough, the Spaniard was a target for United, but Madrid refused to budge on their asking price.

Meanwhile, Spanish media have been reporting that Diego Costa plans on no-showing pre-season training, as he seeks a return to Atletico Madrid. The Premier League champions want €60 million for the Brazilian-born striker though. That might prove far too steep for Diego Simeone's charges, who have millions on a new stadium, while a transfer ban means Costa wouldn't even play until January 2018.

Rodriguez linked with Manchester, Munich clubs.

The exit door of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu has been looming for a while now for the Colombian star, but Real Madrid's signing of Dani Ceballos has all but pushed him out. The Real Betis youngster shone at the U21 Euros for Spain, who lost 1-0 in the final to Germany.

Zinedine Zidane has evidently decided Isco is more useful to him than James, who has won two Champions League medals since joining from Monaco in 2014. Carlo Ancelotti apparently wants a reunion with the attacking midfielder at Bayern Munich. However, Man United are supposedly in "deep talks" with Real, but should that transfer go through then what happens to Juan Mata? They are more or less the exact same player.

Everton Close To Signing Swansea Star

The Toffees have just re-signed boyhood hero Wayne Rooney, but they're not even close to slowing down in this transfer market, with the Daily Mail reporting that they are about to splash £32 million on Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Having been linked with the Icelander for the last few weeks, the Swansea City Vice-Chairman Leigh Dineen hinted that the club could be about to sell their star player in a series of tweets.

Fantasy Premier League users will be keeping a close eye on this potential move, that's for sure.
