This is easily my favourite thing of the week so far. Students, homemakers and people on odd shifts will know that this is from the recently-launched ITV show 'Ejector Seat', so hopefully we get more tension-induced Freudian slips, last seen during the Les Dennis golden era of Family Fortunes. The host in 1990s kids' TV stalwart Andi Peters.
In fairness to John, he knew he'd made an awful mistake as soon as the words slipped out. There's a good chance that he was overcome by an all-consuming fear of being 'ejected' a few feet along the rail. Still, I'd love to know what thought process was at play to come up with an answer like that after buzzing in so confidently.
