Man City have played out a 1-1 draw in their Champions League clash away to RB Leipzig this evening.
The Premier League champions dominated the first half in terms of possession and territory, and made it count with a goal in the 27th minute from Riyad Mahrez, after being set up by Jack Grealish.
Leipzig evened out the proceedings in the second half as they grew into the game, and were rewarded with a headed goal from the young Croatian centre back and World Cup star, Josko Gvardiol.
On first viewing, it looked like a magnificent leap from the 21-year-old as he got up way above Ruben Dias to head past Ederson.
However, on closer inspection he appeared to use Dias to push off into the air with his two hands clearly on his shoulders.
Whether it was enough to warrant a free-kick or not, it was an error of judgement from VAR not to flag it to the referee for another look.

Speaking after the game, Man City manager Pep Guardiola kept a positive attitude despite his side being unable to turn their first-half dominance into more than one goal.
"They made a step forward and pressed higher and we had more problems to make the build-up. After the goal, we concede and we come back and played a good last 15-20 minutes. We had good chances in both halves and a good result and we go to decide it in Manchester.
"I am happy for the whole game, not just the first half. What do you expect? That we play a friendly game here? How many games have you seen from Leipzig? You expect us to come here and win 0-5? That is not a reality. This is a competition that in the group stage many important teams are out. It is difficult."
