Edin Dzeko is set to leave Manchester City after he agreed personal terms to join Italian giants Roma.
According to Sky Sports, the 29-year-old is set to become the second Premier League player to be snapped up by Roma in recent weeks after they completed the capture of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szceszny on-loan.
The Bosnia-Herzegovina striker signed from Wolfsburg for £32.5m in 2011. He interestingly has agreed personal terms with the Rome club before a fee has been agreed with Manchester City.
If Dzeko departs, Manuel Pellegrini will be left with only two recognised strikers ahead of the new season, Sergio Aguero and January signing Wilfred Bony.
The lack of striking options is alarming for City fans given the former's injury-record, and that the Premier League begins in just over a week.
