Man Utd have reportedly changed their transfer target priorities for this summer.
Atletico Madrid and France forward Antoine Griezmann was thought to be Jose Mourinho's top target ahead of his second season in charge at the club.
However, The Telegraph's James Ducker is reporting that the knee injury sustained by Zlatan Ibrahimovic while playing against Anderlecht back in April has forced the club to reconsider. They have now cooled their interest in Griezmann.
The Swede underwent surgery last month after suffering significant ligament damage. It's unclear how long it will take the 35-year-old to recover from the injury.
That, and his contract situation - it expires later this month - has made the acquisition of a direct replacement for Ibrahimovic, rather than a number ten like Griezmann, the priority at Old Trafford.
Sources have confirmed #mufc have changed priorities in recent weeks and will now NOT move for Griezmann at this time (1/2)

The Ibra injury has forced #mufc to change from wanting a No 10 (Griezmann) to now needing another No 9, which becomes the priority (2/2)

Ducker adds that though the signing of the 26-year-old Griezmann will probably not happen this summer, it does not mean it will be seen in a Man Utd shirt sometime in the future.
Sources add that Griezmann remains a player of interest to #mufc and cannot rule out a move in future but won't be happening at this time

There were also doubts today about Atletico's willingness to sell Griezmann after it was confirmed the club has been hit with a transfer ban which means they cannot sign players until the January 2018 window.
