Luton Town's difficult start to their Championship campaign continued this afternoon, drawing 0-0 away to newly promoted side Portsmouth.
Having been relegated from the Premier League last season, Rob Edwards' side were among the favourite for promotion before the season began. However, after losing 4-1 at home to Burnley in their first game of the league, they would then be held by Portsmouth this afternoon.
While it was not a great performance from Luton, their task was made all the more difficult after their goalkeeper was sent off just half an hour into the game.

Luton Town Goalkeeper Sent Off After Hacks On Portsmouth Players
Over the course of a couple of minutes, Luton Town goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski would put together one of the most bizarre periods that you are likely to see all season.
He would be booked for time wasting just 29 minutes into the game, and while you might have expected him to become more composed after that point, it seemed to have the opposite effect.
Kaminski would be sent off just a couple of minutes later. His second booking came after a crazy rampage out from his own goal, going on to take out not one but two Portsmouth players in the process.
You can watch the incident below.

He could have few arguments with that decision.
The reverse angle of the incident was perhaps even more entertaining.

Luton Town would manage to hold out for a draw over the remaining hour of the game, although their return of one point from their first two Championship fixtures is well short of what would have been expected from them.
They will need to up their performance levels quite a bit if they hope to make an immediate return to the Premier League over the coming months.
