Kieran Gibbs farcical red card for Arsenal against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon meant that Lukas Podolski did not get his quota of football. Arsene Wenger brought on Thomas Vermaelen in place of the German to fill in a left back for Gibbs.
So Podolski had to get his fill of football elsewhere. And that turned out to be at his local park with some kids. He posted the above picture to his Instagram account on Sunday along with the caption:

The Arsenal forward told the German media of the reasons for the kickabout:
The weather was beautiful on Sunday and I wanted to kick a ball about. The field is near my home in London. I sometimes go there with my son as it reminds me of my childhood. Playing fields are legendary for me and it’s still fun to play on them.
