Step forward the mighty FK Hajvalia. The team from the dizzying heights of Kosovo's Superleague have offered refuge to the Liverpool striker for the duration of his four month ban.
Kosovo are not yet a FIFA affiliated nation so the assumption is that Suarez's ban does not apply to the small breakaway state. Hajvalia's director, Xhavit Pacolli, told local newspaper Sport Plus that the club was putting together a genuine offer for the Uruguayan.
Suarez can't play in the next four months. As we are not part of Fifa yet, I think he can play in Kosovo, so we have an offer that we will send to Liverpool.
We offered £25,000 and a salary of £1200 for each month. This might sound ridiculous to him, but that is all we can do. If he is willing to come and play for us, he is welcome. As we are not part of Fifa, it would be ideal for him.
Hajvalia finished 6th in their division last season so perhaps there is the possibility that some of the league's bigger hitters will come in and trump their offer. A bidding war among Kosovo's heavyweights, now that's the stuff that footballing dreams are made of.
We're going to assume that Suarez and his representatives will see this as lighthearted joke but perhaps he should have a bit of a think about it. What better way to rally against the perceived injustice of his ban than to light up the Kosovan Superleague for a few months.
