Luis Suarez has apologised, via Twitter, for the incident involving him and Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during the Italy and Uruguay game last Tuesday.

Previously, the Uruguayan had claimed that the incident had been an accident had been an accident, with him simply falling onto the Italian's shoulder with his mouth unluckily open.
Less than an hour after Suarez's apology tweet, Giorgio Chiellini replied.
