Jurgen Klopp has been transforming Liverpool ever since he took over in October of 2015. He's made some shrewd transfer dealings, but it appears he's about to lose Liverpool's longest serving player.
Both Sky Sports and The Times are reporting that Lucas Leiva is on his way out of Anfield. It's understood that SS Lazio have made a £5,000,000 bid for the 30-year old and that Liverpool are considering it.

The Italian club sold their captain and midfield general Lucas Biglia to AC Milan yesterday for €20,000,000. It now seems they're putting some of that money towards his replacement. Liverpool have been heavily linked with Red Bull Leipzig's Naby Keita - which would've moved Lucas further down the pecking order.
The Reds continue their pre-season preparations tonight when they head to the DW Stadium to face Wigan. It's yet to be seen as to whether Lucas will feature. He played at centre-half in the opening game of Liverpool's pre season against Tranmere on Wednesday.
The Reds are set to feature in the Champions League for only the second time since 2010. Their last flirtation with Europe saw them finish as runners up to Seville in the 2015-16 Europa League. The competition which Lazio will find themselves in 2017 after they finished fifth in the Serie A table. They're managed by Simone Inzaghi, brother of World Cup winner Filippo.

Considering he made more than 230 appearances for the club, it's an understandable reaction from the fans.
Farewell Lucas. We'll miss your magnificent imitation of a Scouse accent.
