It is safe to say that Victor Valdes and Louis van Gaal's relationship has has been a rocky one at best with the Spaniard's time in Manchester being somewhat less than ideal..
It seems the relationship has plummeted to a new low with reports emerging that Valdes faces fresh humiliation at Man United with Van Gaal forcing him to not only train on his own but also at different times to his teammates.
According to the Daily Mirror, this often means that the 33-year-old shot-stopper must train by himself in either the morning or the afternoon, depending on what time the senior squad is training at on that day.
Valdes was originally signed last season on a free transfer as cover for David de Gea. However, he has played just two games under Van Gaal and their relationship turned bitter this summer after the United boss accused Valdes of refusing to play for the club’s reserves.
This move is another example of Van Gaal's rather uncompromising man-management style with Valdes being cut adrift so ruthlessly, something which could also be seen as a clear and emphatic message to the rest of the United dressing room not to step out of line in the future.
It also seems highly unlikely that Valdes will ever play for United again, if that wasn't already clear for everyone to see.
