Will he? Won't he? It's football's equivalent of a murder-mystery. David De Gea, Manchester United and Real Madrid are pushing it close to being the longest transfer saga of the summer with several twists and turns.
It wouldn't be a real transfer saga if there wasn't yet another twist. Just days after apparently looking like De Gea could make his seasonal debut for Manchester United in tomorrow night's game at Aston Villa.
That now won't happen, after he was left out of the Manchester United squad that will travel to Birmingham for the game. Louis Van Gaal has confirmed that nothing has changed since he was left out of the opener against Spurs.

Sergio Romero is expected to continue in goal after producing a good performance last week. It comes amid reports that Real Madrid have resigned themselves into waiting for De Gea, but Van Gaal isn't one to change his mind.
