You may be aware of the very macabre Aaron Ramsey Curse, one of football's most disturbing trends.
We addressed the return of the curse on our daily sports podcast, The Racket:
A number of people noticed that for a couple of years, an Aaron Ramsey goal triggered an increase in column inches dedicated to the obituaries:
Then a fine run of form throughout the 2013-14 season saw Ramsey score goals at a rate which could not be matched by coincidental celebrity deaths.
Ramsey's return to form this January was concurrent with a spate of sad celebrity deaths, including Alan Rickman and David Bowie.

And now, once again. Ramsey scored against Spurs in the North London derby, and just over 24 hours later, the death of former First Lady of the United States, Nancy Reagan.
