Liverpool faced Tranmere Rovers this evening as they continued their preseason on a sunny afternoon in Prenton Park.

New signings Naby Keita and Fabinho got a run out in the friendly which saw Rafa Camacho, Sheyi Ojo and Adam Lallana get on the scoresheet, but it was Liverpool's number one that made headlines again after Lloris Karius dropped another clanger which resulted in a goal for Liverpool's opponents.

Camacho got the first, slotting home after a pull back in the box:

The second came form Ojo, who swept the ball home from a tight angle:

The third came courtesy of Adam Lallana, who rifled home after the ball broke to him in the Tranmere box:

But the headlines will go to Lloris Karius, the German starting his rehabilitation since his Champions League final nightmare, after the 25-year-old spilled a routine free-kick from Tranmere which was duly slotted home:
The footage will be nightmare fuel for Liverpool fans, who have not had a decent goalkeeper since Pepe Reina was between the sticks in 2013.
Needless to say Reds fans were none too pleased with Karius' mistake:
