Liverpool faced Tranmere Rovers this evening as they continued their preseason on a sunny afternoon in Prenton Park.
New signings Naby Keita and Fabinho got a run out in the friendly which saw Rafa Camacho, Sheyi Ojo and Adam Lallana get on the scoresheet, but it was Liverpool's number one that made headlines again after Lloris Karius dropped another clanger which resulted in a goal for Liverpool's opponents.

Camacho got the first, slotting home after a pull back in the box:
The second came form Ojo, who swept the ball home from a tight angle:
The third came courtesy of Adam Lallana, who rifled home after the ball broke to him in the Tranmere box:

His head's gone. It's only Tranmere. Proof Karius needs to go.

If Karius can't cope with The Kop at Tranmere he's got no chance

Still don’t think Karius is ’useless’ as portrayed, however, he needs a fresh start somewhere. Too hard for him to comeback from the CL final disaster. It took too big of a dent on his confidence. He’ll probably never feel 100% backed by the supporters, which only makes it worse

Tranmere pull one back. Horrible mistake by Karius.

I was all for giving Karius a chance to rebuild his confidence, but I don't think he'll have the fortitude to do it. Every mistake will be analyzed to the nth degree and the pressure will be unbearable for him.
I don't think Alisson is as good as some think, but...

This is precisely why Karius shouldn't start the season as Liverpool's no.1. Every mistake he makes will be magnified and the pressure will just eventually be too much for him, his teammates and the supporters.
Imagine the crowd reaction at Anfield if that happens v West Ham.

It's better to see that Karius is damaged goods in pre-season than wait to see it into a new season. Klopp can't wait any longer now.
