This evening, Liverpool FC will 'host' Shamrock Rovers at Lansdowne Road, a mere 300 metres or so from the Hoops' original headquarters at 4 Irishtown Road. Despite their home team designation at the modern home of Irish football, it has been reported that the Scousers will debut their 2014-15 away kit - an all-yellow affair which harks back to the club's golden era. Always a popular second choice among Reds fans, it's is certainly a vast improvement on some of their recent alternates.
