Of all the trends to take off as big football clubs have increased their social media footprint tenfold in the past few years, 'Tunnel Cam' is easily up there with the best.
Unlike overly elaborate videos confirming new signings, 'Tunnel Cam' actually has a purpose as it allows the fans a look behind the scenes to see how players react and interact with each other in the moments before they take to the pitch.
Liverpool's tunnel cam for the Arsenal match last weekend, where the home side ran out convincing 4-0 winners, was always going to be interesting, but rather than seeing Arsenal teammates bickering with each other we were caught off-guard by a different moment.
In the middle of some utterly beautiful shots of Liverpool's highlights on the day was a clip of Mohamed Salah's goal shown by a camera sitting in the tunnel. The way the goal came about resulted in a 'Benny Hill' style moment where we see Salah scampering free with the ball, and then a load of players scrambling after him in desperation...
Just brilliant. The crowd noise telling the story, it's one hell of a shot.
