Liverpool fans aren't happy with plans to offload 25-year-old France defender Mamadou Sakho.
Sakho hasn't featured in the match-day squad for either of Liverpool's opening two Premier League games despite being fit and available for selection.
The Reds have reportedly turned down initial approaches from Roma and Bayer Leverkusen for the defender but it appears Brendan Rodgers is ready to sell the France international if his valuation is met.
According to Talksport, Leverkusen are reportedly preparing a £7m bid for Sakho, who came to Anfield from PSG in a £18m deal just two years ago.
Liverpool fans have vented their frustration on twitter about the prospective sale of a fan-favourite.
The Sakho situation baffles me. France VC and regular ahead of Koscielny, Mangala, etc. Former PSG captain and our best defender at #lfc.

Sakho was made PSG captain at 17. He's first choice CB for France ahead of Koscielny, Laporte etc. and is comfortably our best CB too. — ️ (@RedRegista) August 19, 2015
Brendan's ego is the only reason Sakho isn't playing. If we sell him I'm done with the man

Not playing Balo makes sense. Freezing out Sakho doesn't. #LFC

If #LFC sell Sakho, we riot.
