Manchester City and Liverpool produced an all-time classic at The Etihad this evening, producing the sort of match that was befitting of two teams going toe-to-toe for the title.
The home side had the better of the chance in the first half, with Gabriel Jesus' strike giving them a 2-1 lead to carry into the interval.

While Liverpool were perhaps a tad fortunate to be only one goal down at this stage, it wasn't long before they would be level.
Sadio Mane got the equaliser, finishing off a beautiful pass from Mo Salah to tie things up.

Both side would have chances to win the game after that point, although it would eventually finish as a 2-2 draw. It means little has changed in terms of the title race, with City holding a one point advantage over their rivals with seven games left to play.
It was an incredible spectacle, with the supporters certainly getting their money's worth.
Roy Keane, a man who is notoriously hard to impress, loved every minute of it. Speaking in the Sky Sports studio, he summed up the quality of the contest.
What impressed me with all these top quality players was their desire to keep going and try and win the game at the end.
No team is going to dominate the game for a long spell because there is so much quality on both sides. Liverpool struggled to get going, but then in the second half they showed their quality I suppose.
We saw in the second half they were out early, Jurgen Klopp obviously had a go at them at halftime and said 'you better start showing your true colours', we saw that in the second half. Manchester City created chances as well.
We're getting a great reminder of what this game is all about, that's why we love the game. I really enjoyed the game, I thought it was fantastic. Credit to all the players, I thought they were fantastic.
Luckily, we wont have to wait too much longer to see these sides face off again.
They will meet in the FA Cup semi-final next weekend, where on that occasion a winner will have to be decided at Wembley Stadium.
