Liverpool are in Australia where they are playing some football, launching Robbie Fowler out of a plane, and meeting the locals.
All kinds of locals.
An opprtunity to meet some Australian wildlife was presented to the Liverpool players and former players who have joined them on the tour, and while the likes of Didi Hamann embraced the opportunity to meet with an adorable koala:

Kolo Toure was less impressed. In fact, Kolo Toure ran away when the koala was introduced to him, and he later revealed he is really, really afraid of animals:
It wasn’t anything against koalas. I’ve had a dog at home for seven years and I’ve never even touched it.
I can look at animals but I can’t bring myself to touch them!
Seven years without giving your dog so much as a pat on the head? What the hell is wrong with you Kolo!
Easily one of the more entertaining footballers in terms of bizarre off the pitch antics, this is just another chapter of the story. Which, by the way, will make one hell of a read if it's ever published.
And I'm sorry, but Didi Hamann hugging a koala is the most heartwarming picture I've ever seen.
