After a disappointing run of things last season, Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways next year, and some heavy investment in the transfer market is likely to be needed for them to return to the top.
Liverpool have been one of Europe's finest clubs for the past few years, winning the Premier League in 2020, the Champions League in 2019, and pushing Manchester City close for Premier League glory in 2019 and 2022.
However, last season marked a dramatic downturn in form, with the team failing to secure Champions League football for the first time since 2016.
Though much of the focus going into this transfer window has been on Liverpool's need to reinforce their midfield, they are also facing down several high-profile departures in the attacking department.

Sadio Mané left the club in the summer of 2022, while Roberto Firmino will follow him out of the club this summer. Though Mohamed Salah continues to bang in goals for fun, and spent much of last season backed up by Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo, fans may look for the club to bolster their options up front this summer.
Reports in Italy suggest that Jurgen Klopp has his sights set on a new addition to his attacking arsenal, with the Liverpool manager weighing up a bid for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.

Liverpool leading charge to sign Federico Chiesa
Calciomercato report that, with Chiesa's contract talks at Juve breaking down, Liverpool stand as the frontrunners for his signature.
Not only do Juventus not have Champions League football to offer their players next season, but the financial hit taken by the club for missing out on qualification has left them shortchanged when it comes to their wage bill.
With Chiesa reportedly requesting an upgrade of his salary from €5 million to €7 million plus €1m in bonuses, Juve are said to be open to a move - and Jurgen Klopp looks to be the man most determined to sign the Italian winger.

Chiesa starred for Italy at EURO 2020, scoring against Austria in the last-16 and Spain in the semi-finals, as the Azzurri took their second European Championship crown. He was named on the team of the tournament, and started the final against England at Wembley.
The report from Calciomercato suggests that Liverpool will have to fight off Premier League rivals Newcastle if they are to win the race for Chiesa's signature - and that is if the Italian ultimately leaves Juventus at all.
Speaking at the outset of the most recent international break, Chiesa said of his future:
I am here working with the international team and our goal in the Nations League, then we will see. I am at Juventus and I am thinking about Juventus.
Liverpool have already made their first signing of the summer transfer window, with World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister arriving from Brighton.
