Saturday was a fairly nightmarish day for Liverpool fans as they watched their team get beaten 2-0 by Hull City away from home. Hull's goals were scored by Alfred N'Diaye and Oumar Niasse, the Everton flop who only played five times for the Toffees after moving from Locomotiv Moscow. It's probably fair to say that Everton fans didn't have any particular fondness for Niasse before today; the opposite was probably true, in fact.

Oh, how that has changed now. Especially after the spreading of the video below.

'The Redmen' is a popular Liverpool fans' TV station and provided the riveting spectacle of Liverpool fans sat on a couch watching the Hull match. What should really just have been a routine screening turned into a bit of a horror show, however, when Hull scored though N'Diaye in the 43rd minute - a perfect encapsulation of the last week for Liverpool fans. Then comedy descended.

As the game ticked into the 84th minute, one 'Pool fan utters the immortal words:

It's a good job that Niasse is shit.

His mate taps wood, but the inevitable happens.

No surprise, then, that Everton fans are absolutely loving it. If you can't become an Everton hero by scoring for the Toffees, there's always the alternative of scoring against Liverpool and making their fans look like eejits.
