With his spell as Liverpool manager now underway, Arne Slot will be looking to make some changes to his playing squad for next season.
He inherits a team that is not in need of a major overhaul, although it is likely that he will look to make a handful of additions as the Dutchman attempts to implement his playing philosophy. A decision will also have to be made on potential outgoings, with a few players likely to be on their way out of Anfield.
One of the more interesting cases comes in the form of Caoimhín Kelleher.
Liverpool are said to be keen to hang onto the goalkeeper, with the Irishman one of the best no. 2s in the game at the moment. However, he has proven that he has the quality to be a no. 1 moving forward, a position he is unlikely to be given on Merseyside due to the presence of Alisson Becker.
At 25-years old, is seems like now is the right time for Kelleher to move on. However, it seems as though it will take a monumental bid in order to prise him away from Liverpool.

Liverpool put huge price tag on Caoimhín Kelleher
The Mirror are reporting Liverpool could seek a fee of around £40million to sanction the sale of Caoimhín Kelleher this summer.
That is a massive price tag for a player who has made less than 50 first team appearances over the course of his career. It is also double the amount that the club were said to be seeking for the player in the summer of 2023, where an offer of around £20million likely would have been enough to get a deal over the line.
Caoimhín Kelleher would go on to have by far the finest season of his career in 2023/24, making 26 appearances in all competitions as he played a pivotal role on both domestic and continental fronts.
The Ireland international is sure to be of interest to quite a few clubs this summer, although that price tag would certainly limit the options available to him.
Liverpool would love to keep him in the squad for next season, although the player himself may need to move on in order to take the next step in his career. Hopefully a solution can be reached that suits all parties.
