It's the second week of June and Liverpool have already announced their third signing of the summer. Three players, three free signings. This time it is former Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan who moves to Anfield to presumably fill the space left by Brad Jones departure from the club this summer.

The Hungarian stopper made over 100 league appearances for Bolton after taking over from Jussi Jaaskelainen and it is expected that he will act as backup to Simon Mignolet who has seen his reputation, for the most part, bounce back after a disastrous start to last season.
After Mignolet was dropped for the clash with Man United in December, it looked certain that he would be replaced as the club's number one this summer. However, after injury to Brad Jones, Mignolet returned to the starting line-up and it now appears he has convinced Brendan Rodgers that he is the man to make the number one jersey his own in the long term.
Despite that, the signing of Bogdan is sure to attract quite a bit of criticism along these lines:
I see Liverpool have brought in another keeper but are they ever going to sign a proper number 1?
