Former FAI chief executive John Delaney will appear before the Oireachtas Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport today.
Delaney and a group from the FAI will appear a day after Sport Ireland suspended funding to the association.
The entire delegation is made up of the following: John Delaney, Executive Vice President. Donal Conway, President of the Board of the FAI. Eddie Murray, Honorary Treasurer. Paraic Treanor, Chairperson of the Legal and Corporate Affairs Committee. Rea Walshe, Interim CEO and former Corporate Affairs and Licensing Director.
High on the agenda will be questions regarding the €100,000 bridging loan which Delaney provided to the FAI in 2017.
The committee will be chaired by Fine Gael TD Fergus O'Dowd.
