All eyes were on Cardiff on Monday night as unquestionably the most attractive contest for the neutral was the fight for a playoff spot between Wales and Ireland.
It may not have been the most attractive or technical encounter, but few would have regretted their decision to tune in after seeing the emotion in the Irish fans and players following James McClean's second-half goal.
As well as RTÉ and Sky Sports, the match was being broadcast around Europe and - much like Shane Long's goal against Germany - it made quite an impact.
Darren Cleary of 98FM has put together a super little audio montage of commentators from Portugal, Russia, England, and Ireland of course, reacting to McClean's goal as it went in, the highlight of which is easily Kevin Kilbane's roar of delight as could be heard on Newstalk last night.

Magical stuff.
And for the day that's in it, here is what McClean's goal looked like when given the 'TITANIC GOALS' treatment.

I wonder if Celine Dion knew at the time she'd be hugely popular in football culture about 20 years later. It's a weird one, but it just works.
