The Barcelona star received the ball around ten yards outside the box on 22 minutes with a swarm of Getafe players around him and somehow managed to pick out a pass to Luis Suarez which took SIX of them completely out of the game:
The only shame is that Suarez could not find the finish that the pass so desperately deserved.
Earlier Messi had broken the deadlock after a Getafe defender's misplaced header fell at his feet and Messi nutmegged the goalkeeper before slotting into an empty net. That goal brought him up to 15 goals for the season, with the forward also registering 10 assists.
