Liam Kelly is a name that every Irish football fan should be aware of as the 21-year-old midfielder has been impressing at Reading in the Championship in recent months.
Today however, Kelly was the catalyst as Reading came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 away to Bristol City.
His first senior goal gave Reading a lifeline with 20 minutes to go, and it was very well taken indeed:
And then the scores were levelled after Kelly played a tidy ball into the feet of Jan Kermogant.
Reading then hit the winner in the 92nd minute as Kermogant bagged his second of the game, a great result to lift Reading into 3rd with a game in hand on the clubs behind the.
Great to see a young Irish player turning a game on it's head like that. This performance came on the back of signing a contract extension as Reading were eager to tie him down until 2019.

To get Irish fans a bit more excited about Kelly as a prospect, Reading manager Jaap Stam, who has played with his fair share of world class players in his day, went as far as to describe the youngster's passing technique as 'world class' in an interview with GetReading.co.uk:
Liam is a quality player.
We’ve seen him throughout the whole season. He is a player who has great skills, he’s very comfortable on the ball and can go past players as well.
His passing, his technique is world class - I can say that. You could see it against Leeds and again at Blackburn.
Sound, Jaap, we'll take your word for it.
He is definitely someone to keep an eye out for, and hopefully we'll have a chance to get a good look at him when Reading travel to Old Trafford in the FA Cup next week.
